Time away to recharge and relax with little outside chatter always good and worth the effort.
I have a small private practice in Amesbury where I see clients.
I can see people from 6-00 pm until 8.00pm Monday to Thursday.
If I can not see you or these times do not suit your requirements I am part of a small team of 4 other therapists and can, if you wish, refer you to see one of my other colleagues who may be able to help you.
We are a small group of four qualified counsellors and therapists providing support in Wiltshire, we have therapy rooms in Amesbury, Marlborough and Devizes.
We work with all groups and have a fully qualified young persons counsellor.
Just got back from what will probably be my last visit to Germany.
Great memories with some great people. Very good conference in a fantastic setting worth the 14 hour drive. Sad to leave but we all have to move on trying to let the past help us form what is still to come
Off to Germany to act as chaplain to two courses for a week. I will run the liturgy, including Ash Wednesday, and be around for anyone to have a chat with. Very much looking forward to this and getting back to see church house before it closes for good.
Day of so into Salisbury Cathedral fo some reflexion and prayer then off to Sarun book shop for some books very good morning. Now half way through a book on Lectio Divina after walking the dogs. Very good afternoon.
Having just taken down the Christmas lights and put them away it’s now all done.
12th night and all is well. What was the star to you this Christmas? What was your main focus! Family, wealth, health, what you would get under the tree or maybe just peace and good will for all.
So today What is the star to you now? If you don’t know think about what you would like for your family or friends or even yourself this coming year and that is probably what is most important to you and the main thing you will set as your goal.
Most of the people I see and work with are goal driven but I am always interested in who or what is driving them froward who is behind their star.
I suppose for me it will come down to spending more time in prayer and meditation, running retreats for people, my ongoing counselling work and spiritual direction. All of this on top of the day job.
